(3) Marathon Number Three – 28th May 2014 – The MND Motor Neurone Disease Association
#MNDa #MND
The Motor Neurone Disease marathon will start from somewhere near Bristol and take us across to Bath. Due to the MND official offices being located elsewhere we will hopefully visit organisers and charity workers in Taunton on the 30th May.
(4) Marathon Number Four – 29th May 2014 – The Alzheimers Association
#AlzheimersSociety #Dementia
We shall be running from Bath across to Taunton after a publicity visit to The Alzheimers South West offices in Weston-super-Mare and heading through some iconic Somerset villages along the way.

#TheLullabyTrust #Lullaby
The Lullaby Trust Marathon will begin from Taunton and will take us across to the Somerset coast path near Minehead and begin to head back through Burnham-on-Sea and Brean towards Weston-super-Mare.
(6) Marathon Number Six – 31st May 2014 – MPS Society – The Society for Mucopolysaccharide Diseases
#MPS #WickedGenes
The MPS Society Marathon will start from a very special location, my next door neighbours home, where a very brave lad called Archie Pearson lives, Archie suffers from a rare genetic disease called MPS, a progressive and life limiting genetic condition. The marathon will finish near Wells in preparation of the final marathon.
The Final Marathon (7) Marathon Number Seven – 1st June 2014 – The Weston Hospicecare Mendip Challenge
#WestonHospicecare #Hospice
The Final Marathon will actually be an Ultra Marathon as we partake in The famous Mendip Challenge organised by The Weston Hospicecare themselves, 30 miles over the Mendip Hills back to our final finish line in Uphill, Weston-super-Mare.
Completing 183.4 miles and having visited each City and coastal towns, many villages and a few famous landmarks along the way.
The Challenge will see each runner take in over 5,000 calories per day and with a recovery time of just 16-18 hours before having to take on the arduous task again. Physically this is one of the biggest challenges I will have taken on along with the running team, therefore preparation on training began many months ago and we hope to be in great shape come 26th May 2014 when the journey begins – 7 Marathons in 7 Days for 7 Charities.
There will also be 2 additional charities named as we will have a runner fundraising and running all 7 marathons on behalf of Macmillan Cancer Trust and a marathon runner running 1 or 2 marathons for the Bone Cancer Society.
