Sleep Deprivation & Trying to Win a Car in The Process

Having been chosen for the competition from a local advert to explain the previous feats and challenges each potential competitor had done I was delighted to have received the call from Star FM announcing I had made the Top 20 and was in with a chance to win the new Renault Modus if I was going to be the last person standing and with my hands still on the car.

I turned up at the SJ Cook showroom on the Saturday morning, I was well prepared, I had done my research and having rested my body and put my mind into positive mode it was time to meet the competition. Within a few minutes of meeting everyone I began to wonder if I had done enough preparation. I had spoken to a few people who had gone up to 50 hours with no sleep in previous events but I wanted to see if I could push myself to 60, maybe even 70 hours if everything went right, but there was tough competition in the showroom and one or two people that had entered previous competitions and knew what to expect.
